This netbook is absolutely brilliant. I love the design and portability of the netbook and would definitely recommend it. I do advise though, upgrading to 2gb of ram to greatly improve performance. This will make it even more enjoyable. Either way this is an awesome notebookHP Mini 110-1115NR 10.1-Inch Black Netbook - Up to 3.75 Hours of Battery Life (Windows 7 Starter)

This netbook comes with Windows 7 Starter, which is probably all anyone would need who is looking in this price point of netbooks. I'm happy with mine. I'd like to say that using Google Chrome helps out with maximizing valuable screen space on screens of this size(F11 helps too.) This is the first HP I've had and though it's not been long I can say I'm a happy customer thus far. It performs how I expected it to. I'll update this in the future if I have any problems.

This very portable computer is very basic for internet and chatting and also for some microsoft office things, the bad thing that I found on this computer it's that it heat a lot on the back and also the touch pad gets a lot of heat and that's annoying for me that's I;m giving this product 2 stars at the beginning I purchase it to my 7 year old daughter but It heat so much that she wasnt able to stand with it so I purchase a Dell 11z much better and less heat.

I picked this up a few days ago from Dick Smith for AU$450 (marked down from $499), and althought it was a bit expensive compared to US prices, i didn't regret it, and still dont.
It's just perfect for me a (senior in high school) and does everything i want it to - web, chat, word documents, photos, etc. The basics, and more.
I love the design (i have the black one), and the keyboard size is a great, i was accustumed to it very quickly. It runs pretty fast and smooth (with windows 7), VERY light and portable, webcam is great and blutooth is very convienient.
All in all a good little machine, but BEWARE THE SHORT BATTERY LIFE!!!! I didn't notice it when i purchased it, but 3 hours goes VERY fast and i find myself constantly hooked up to the power plug.

This laptop has been working great! The only thing that I would want people to know is that they should really look into upgrading the memory to 2GB. Also, if you want your mini laptop to fit into a protective sleeve, or travel bag that is specifically made for a 10" mini laptop, do not get the larger size battery because it won't fit and you will have to take the battery off every time you put it away. Overall this computer performs great for surfing the web and traveling.
